What is Ojai Spirit?
Ojai Spirit. It’s the indomitable strength, generosity, and love that envelops the Ojai Valley and characterizes her people. It’s that feeling about place that you can’t put into words—but you try. It’s what we felt as we came together in the aftermath of the 2017 Thomas Fire, to help our neighbors and show gratitude to our first responders. My intention in creating Ojai Spirit was to bring people together. And we did, raising over $3,000 in sales donations for the Ojai-based Humane Society of Ventura County to help our lost and displaced animals, and to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation for all they’ve done here and do for their firefighters. We’ve also donated to the Greater Goods Disaster Relief Fund and the Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation’s Thomas Fire Recovery Fund. We continue to donate a percentage of our sales to local non-profit organizations.
